How We Started
I lost my job in 1996, the same year my daughter Erin was born. With a newborn at home, I opened the newspaper and searched the help-wanted pages. There I found an ad for a locksmith school showing a man picking a lock, and it grabbed me immediately. I enrolled, graduated, and I've worked as a locksmith from that day on.
My son Eliud arrived in 2006, and from the start I knew he'd carry it on. In 2014 I made it official by founding Father & Son Locksmith.
In 2025 Eliud joined the payroll and got his own new truck. Sometimes he ran calls by himself, and sometimes we worked them together. Then he shared a bigger dream: serving his country in the U.S. Navy. I'm as proud as a father can be. In five years he'll come home with the discipline and focus the Navy teaches, and the "Son" in Father & Son will be back out on calls.
This has always been a family business. My nephew Philip has worked beside me for 15 years, since before the Father & Son Locksmith name, and he treats every job as if the company were his.
That's our story: two generations and 30 years in the trade. When West Chester calls Father & Son Locksmith, family picks up.
